Social Policy Indicators Database , SPIN

The Social Policy Indicators (SPIN) database is a project of the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI). Its aim is to get a better view of the ways in which countries have organized their welfare state by analysing institutions as manifested in social policy legislation. In order to perform this analysis, comparative and longitudinal data on citizens’ social rights and duties within the welfare state are collected. Not all datasets are online yet. For more information on the individual datasets that have been published already, please see: The Child Benefit Dataset (CBD), The Parental Leave Benefit Dataset (PLB), The Social Assistance and Minimum Income Protection Interim Dataset (SAMIP), The Social Citizenship Indicator Program (SCIP), The Social Insurance Entitlement Dataset (SIED) and the Out-of-Work Benefits Dataset (OUTWB).
