Comparative Family Policy Database

Overview

Abstract

The Comparative Family Policy Database consists of two distinct databases: the Comparative Family Cash Benefits Database and the Comparative Maternity, Parental, and Childcare Leave and Benefits Database. The Comparative Family Policy Database provides information on family allowances and parental leave regulations. It includes a range of comparative, historical indicators for 22 OECD countries covering the period 1960-2010. The database is developed by Prof. Dr. A.H. Gauthier and distributed by the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI) and Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPlDR).
