CLOSER Contextual Database

Overview

Abstract

The CLOSER Contextual Database provides time series data on some key indicators of social change to facilitate and promote cross-cohort research. In addition to the quantitative indicators, the Database provides information on the institutional context through key dates related to the implementation of policies. The CLOSER Contextual Database is one of the data resources of CLOSER (Cohort & Longitudinal Studies Enhancement Resources, www.closer.ac.uk). This initiative promotes the use and access of the UK's longitudinal studies.
